A UFO swap is an organized event in the crafting community where participants exchange UFOs—an acronym that stands for "Unfinished Objects" (projects someone started, set aside, and never completed). Instead of just finishing the original piece, the new owner often reinvents or adapts the leftover elements to make the project their own.
