East Chatham Grange

The East Chatham Grange #1066 is an active local fraternal organization in East Chatham, New York, focused on community service, rural advocacy, and social connection. It was formed locally in 1906 with horseman Walter Pierce Housman serving as its very first Master. 

Activities and Events

  • Meetings: Our meeting are held on the second Monday of every month, usually starting with dinner at 6:00 PM.
  • Workshops and Classes: We offer public workshops like quilting series, sewing, and felting. Some are free!
  • Community Fun: We hosts regular game nights, penny socials, baking contests, and talent shows.
  • Advocacy and Education: Grassroots nonpartisan legislative action, agriculture awareness, and youth programs are part of our mission.
